Michael G. Hickman, 60, has been charged with 2 counts of DUI manslaughter after the September 2009 car crash that left Sister Karinne O’Malley and Sister Ann McFall dead. The Catholic nuns were teachers at St. Andrews Catholic School in Cape Coral, FL.
A state lab report found that Hickman’s blood alcohol level was .228, nearly 3 times the legal limit. In spite of the BAC level, Hickman’s attorney has said that his client plans to plead not guilty.
Admitted to both the California State Bar and the Florida State Bar, Joseph Saunders has also practiced in the United States District Court and the United States Court of Appeals. His philosophy is to provide aggressive, quality representation and seek fair compensation for individuals and their families who have suffered injury or death at the hands of insurance companies, large corporations, medical providers or governmental entities.
